Dawnsong
age 42 MOONS | gender FEMALE | CLAN DUSKCLAN |
Birth Season LEAF-FALL | SEXUALITY STRAIGHT | RANK QUEEN |
PERSONALITY
Summary
Full Description
Dawnsong is a kind, optimistic she-cat. Since she was little she always liked to look at the bright side of everything. When her mother died, Dawnsong's father took a new mate, and neglected his remaining kits. Even then Dawnkit liked to look at the bright side of it, cheering her brother up when he was sad.
Dawnsong's greatest flaw is her recklesseness. She is overly impulsive, and doesn't think about the consequences of something before acting.
Cats who don't know her well can think her overwhelming in the beggining. She is, after all, a highly sentimental cat. As time passes, she naturally will begin to calm down in certain aspects of her personality, such as her unending energy. As she gets older, Dawnsong will learn how to balance the aspects of her personality as she matures into a full grown she-cat.

HISTORY
Summary
Dawnkit was born to very young parents who had just become mates. She had two brothers. Patchkit died a few days after being born. Robinkit and Dawnkit then became very close. Unfortunately her mother died when she was 3 moons old and her father found comfort in another she-cat. He never came in the nursery to see the kits anymore. Robinkit was very sad because of this, and Dawnkit had to always find a way to brighten up his day. She dreamed of being a medicine cat to help cats like her late mother when she was little, but as she grew closer to apprenticeship, she noticed that her heart longed for adventure and something more than spending her days counting herbs in a stuffy den.
Dawnpaw received senior warrior Darkfrost as her mentor. She couldn't ask for a better mentor. Darkfrost taught her very important things she took with her for life. On her first week of apprenticeship, Dawnpaw saved Maskpaw, a young DuskClan apprentice, from drowning in the river that separated their territories. They talked for a bit and formed a bond that would, one day lead to much more than just a cross-clan friendship between two apprentices.
Dawnpaw and Maskpaw begun meeting in secret, firstly on the border where they met, and then in the gathering island. As time went on and they both became warriors, Dawnsong and Maskheart became mates, and soon the silver she-cat was carrying her love's kits. A few meetings later, Mistblaze, Dawnsong's best friend who had a crush on her, follows the silver she-cat out of camp and finds her and Maskheart cuddling on the island. In his betrayed rage, he bursts out of the foliage and confronts the couple, forcing Dawnsong to promise to never see Maskheart again and come back to camp with him.
Back in camp, Mistblaze tells the StreamClan leader what happened and Dawnsong is sentenced to a life in camp, being watched at all times, and at least three moons without going to gatherings. After discovering she is pregnant and realizing her kits would never get to meet their father, she falls into a deep hole of depression, never leaving the nursery and eating less and less each day.
Roughly two weeks later, Mistblaze, seeing the state his best friend is in after what he's done, feels guilty and seeks to right his wrongs, taking Dawnsong to the border with DuskClan and helping her escape StreamClan to hopefully live with her mate in DuskClan. After a tearful goodbye, Dawnsong crosses the border and is escorted to the camp by DuskClan deputy Fawnstone. She is welcomed with distrust, but the DuskClan leader lets her stay as long as she proves her loyalty.
She reunites with Maskheart and the two of them start their new life as a family. A moon and a half later Dawnsong gives birth to her three kits. Nightkit, Blizzardkit and Mistykit (after Mistblaze).
When the plague hits the clans three moons later, Dawnsong and her family are forced to flee with the rest of the clans to a new territory. Along the way they face multiple difficulties and lots of cats die, such as Dawnsong's brother, Robinfrost.
Now, as things have settled down on the new territories, Dawnsong hopes to continue her journey and raise her now apprenticed kits to be the very best the can.
